Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old to create an account. If you are under the age of majority where you live, a parent or guardian must agree to these terms on your behalf.
Accounts
You must provide accurate information and are responsible for activity under your account. Tutor accounts additionally require mastery verification before publishing courses.
Courses & content
Course content, including AI-generated syllabi and lectures, is provided for educational purposes. We moderate submissions for quality and disclosure but do not guarantee outcomes.
Tutors & the marketplace
Tutors keep 80% of course revenue; StackGrasp retains 20% as a platform fee. Tutors are independent contractors, not employees, and are solely responsible for the accuracy of their content. Marketplace order disputes between a buyer and seller are first reviewed by an automated system; where it isn't confident enough to decide, the dispute is escalated to a human moderator rather than resolved automatically.
Certificates & on-chain credentials
A course certificate or verified mastery credential may be issued as a non-transferable ("soulbound") token on a public blockchain (Polygon). Like any on-chain record, the transaction itself is public and permanent even though we can mark a specific credential revoked if it was issued in error or the underlying achievement is later invalidated.
Referral program
Sharing your referral link awards 100 Essence Credits to both you and the person who signs up, credited automatically on signup — not after any course purchase or completion. If they later upgrade to a paid subscription plan, you each get an additional 500 Essence Credits, awarded once, the first time. We may change or end this program, or the award amounts, at any time.
Essence Credits
Essence Credits are an in-platform unit used for AI compute and platform features. Credits have no cash value outside the Platform except where a payout mechanism is explicitly offered.
Payments & refunds
Paid courses are billed once through our payment processor. Refund requests are reviewed under our Refund Policy, the terms shown at checkout, and applicable consumer law. Approved full card or bank-payment refunds return through the original processor in the amount and currency originally charged. A refund request does not itself cancel recurring billing or automatically change learning access. Paid subscription plans renew until cancelled from Pricing; cancellation keeps access through the paid period, while an unpaid trial can end immediately. Google Play purchases use Google Play’s refund process. Confirmed USDC blockchain transfers cannot be automatically reversed; contact Support for review.
Acceptable use
No fraud, harassment, plagiarism, or circumventing course moderation. We may remove content or suspend accounts that violate these terms.
Intellectual property
Tutors retain ownership of their original course content and grant StackGrasp a license to host and distribute it on the Platform. StackGrasp owns the Platform's software, brand, and AI systems.
Suspension & termination
We may suspend or terminate accounts for violations of these terms, fraud, or as required by law, with notice where practicable.
Disclaimers & liability
The Platform is provided "as is." To the extent permitted by law, StackGrasp is not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from use of the Platform.
Governing law
These Terms of Use and any disputes arising out of or related to them shall be governed by, and construed in accordance with, the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, without regard to its conflict of law principles. You agree that any legal action or proceeding shall be brought exclusively in the courts located in Abuja, Nigeria.
